Coaching/Auditions

With the same expertise that Clair teaches the craft of TV/Film acting, she coaches Actors in the audition process. The audition is not the time to be nervous; the time to be nervous is when you don’t have an audition.  During an audition, remember everyone in the room wants you to be successful, the casting director has spent hours and hours going through submissions, and the director and producers are on a tight time schedule. They want you to be right for the role, they’re on your side.  Coaching is a necessary part of the process especially if the role is a Series Regular, Guest Star, Starring or Supporting film role.  Far too much is at stake to wing it. 

Today Many auditions request actors to submit on tape via internet.  A professional broadcast quality audition will get you more consideration then a speed reel or home video.  Ask to see some of our audition submissions.

Reactions for camera become more important than the dialogue. A film actor gets paid for all the things he thinks and feels, but doesn’t say. TV/Film tells a story with pictures. It’s the non dialogue, your reactions, listening.  Giving the role life at all times.  A Cold Read today is Camera Ready.  You need to be ready to be filmed today and be on call tomorrow.

Some actors are more comfortable and gain more with Private one on one sessions rather then a workshop or class room environment. From the introduction to acting, to the seasoned professional, to getting past the call backs to booking.  Private sessions are available.
